There is no better way to start your day than an English breakfast. It’s little wonder than all Brits love a breakfast on a weekend when you can indulge of a meal consisting of sausages, bacon, eggs and hash browns, and let’s not forget about the beans and toast. It is the perfect meal to start a big day of action, and here are the best places in Birmingham to head to if you need a big breakfast.
Cherry Reds
This cafe can be found in the city centre, and it’s fair to say that you won’t regret making your trip here. The prices are competitive, and there is something for everyone no matter on your dietary requirements. The meat-feast is our favourite, but there is also a vegetarian and vegan option. The best news of all is that it’s served all day, so there is no time like the present to head there!

Boston Tea Party
There are two Boston Tea Party’s in the city; one in Harbourne and another in the city centre. It is the perfect place to start your day with a feast of food, and the servings are generous. You must not miss out of the hearty Great Western Breakfast. It is divine. There are also vegetarian options available, so they cater for all needs. It is perfect!

Kitchen Garden Café
If you’re looking to get away from the daily hassle of the city, then this restaurant is the perfect place for you. It is a tranquil retreat from the high streets. Located in Kings Heath the full English rates among the best, but this is undoubtedly the destination if you’re looking for a vegetarian or vegan special. In fact, there is no better place for breakfast in the city for those dietary requirements. It is a must-visit and can be easily found opposite Hare & Hounds on York Road.

Gas Street Social
Located in the Mailbox, you will find one of the most unique places in the city to get your full English. Along with the standard individual breakfasts, you will find the sharer. This option is supposedly for those who want to eat but aren’t that hungry, but you can totally take advantage of this if you’re at the opposite end of the scale. The Bottomless Brunch is a perfect reason to visit. Is there a better way to enjoy a breakfast than with a Bellini? We think not.

Yorks Bakery Café
If you have just come into the city through New Street Station, or just planning on going away for the weekend, then this is your perfect spot to make sure your belly is full. Along with its perfect location, they also offer one of the best breakfasts in the city and for a reasonable price. They have recently opened their second restaurant at Ikon Gallery, and both of which are the perfect destination for all lovers of sourdough bread!

The Lord Clifden
If you’re after any kind of food, then the Lord Clifden is an ideal choice, but especially at breakfast time. It is commonly called the hidden gem of the Jewellery Quarter, and we wouldn’t argue with that. They offer a variety of different breakfasts, with one including an 80z rump steak, and the Brummie which includes local Lashford sausages and the treasured black pudding. It is a must-visit!

Coast to Coast
If you’re looking for something utterly unique to partner with your full English, then this restaurant in Brindley Place is your ideal spot. Along with getting the traditional sausage, bacon and eggs, your breakfast will come complete with a mini Oreo. It is a clever spin on the breakfast and one that we loved. The breakfast is only priced at £7.65, and the staff are welcoming and helpful throughout your visit.

The Briar Rose
I’m sorry, we just couldn’t resist. Who doesn’t love a Weatherspoons breakfast? They are super filling, and you know exactly what you’re getting and to make it even better the price is easy on your wallet. If you are feeling extra hungry, then we recommend the large breakfast which comes with two eggs, two sausages, two rashes of bacon, two pieces of toast, beans, a mushroom and half a tomato. It will cost you just £4.70 and set you up perfectly for your day in the city.

Deli Social
If you’re looking for the perfect mixture of value for money and quality of meal, then you shouldn’t look any further than the Deli Social. The value for money is second to none, and it is one of our favourites. It is brilliant all year round, and there is a seating area for when you want to top up your tan while filling up your belly. The breakfast includes beautiful sausages, bacon and eggs, but the bread is to die for. The deli also sells the best bread in the city. It is the perfect place for breakfast.
