Crazy Pedro’s
For anyone that has already been up to the north, there is no surprise that Crazy Pedro’s has looked for success elsewhere. The restaurant is a pizza lovers’ dream with a wide range of toppings available at the 5000sq ft space that the enterprise has acquired at The Custard Factory. Crazy Pedro’s has revolutionised what toppings can go on pizza, and it is a must-try for anyone that loves the Italian dish.
However, be warned, some of the toppings aren’t your usual choice, as diners will have the opportunity to try Crème Eggs on a pizza, as well as a curry sauce-based pizza. It is a perfect choice for any diner, with Crazy Pedro’s open until 3 am over the weekend. You can also unwind with a frozen Margarita, which is on tap all week.

D&D Birmingham
Brummies will be in for a treat later this year, as D&D Birmingham finally opens its doors. D&D already has a much-loved restaurant in London, but its success is expected to continue when the doors to its Birmingham location opens in October.
Visitors and diners will have an unrivalled experience at the location, as it will be situated at the top of the city’s largest office building. It will be located on Colmore Row, and will have a rooftop bar and restaurant area. Visitors will be able to dig into some excellent meals while enjoying the views of the city, and it is expected to rival Marco Pierre White’s restaurant located in The Cube.

Vinoteca
There will be few better places to eat and drink for wine lovers in Birmingham this July, as Vinoteca opens its doors for the first time in the Second City on July 18. The independent wine bar has already opened bars and restaurants elsewhere in the UK, with its first branch coming in London, which was opened in 2005.
It will be a one-stop-shop for lovers of wine, as you will be able to test out new bottles and also purchase bottles on your way out. It promotes healthy and well-sourced foods, with a menu for brunch and a set menu available at its London location. Main dishes available on the set menu include Pan Seared Pollock and Pork Chops, with White Chocolate Semifreddo and Hawes Wensleydale among the desserts available. It will be a must-visit over the summer months for all locals.

Aioli
One of the newest restaurants located in Solihull is Aioli. The establishment takes inspiration from the Gypsy culture of Andalusia and serves up a wide selection of dishes that a vibrant with passion. The name of the restaurant comes from a famous Spanish sauce, and sauce is really what Aioli brings to the taste buds. There are five different variations available at the restaurant, including black cuttlefish ink to smoked red paprika.
One of the most popular options at the restaurant is the tapas selection, with both meat and fish options available. Among the most popular meat dishes include Alitas de Pollo, Chistorra al Vino, and Aioli Burgers. However, there is also something for non-meat eaters, with vegetarian tapas dishes including Alboronias, Tortilla Espanola, and Patatas Bravas.

Those looking for a vibrant dining experience that they can’t find anywhere else shouldn’t look past Jungle Bird. This establishment offers a tropical experience that customers will not be able to experience anywhere else. It is especially a restaurant that will gain the attention of vegans around the Second City, with a wide number of plant-based meals available. However, it isn’t all about the food at Jungle Bird, as there is an excellent selection of cocktails and mocktails available on the menu, as well as craft beers and natural wines.
There is a wide selection of offers available for diners, including small plates that are perfect for sharing. Some of the selections on that menu include Nacho Strips, They’re Mine, Holy Smokes, and Feta Together. Burgers lovers can rejoice as Fat Hippo has finally opened its first restaurant in the West Midlands. The success of Fat Hippo is not new news to those that live in the North, as the burger restaurant has huge a great deal of success in areas such as Manchester for a number of years. However, it is now Birmingham’s opportunity to realise what all the fuss has been about, as their newest branch in the Midlands opened in June. It is a must for all burger lovers, as the restaurant excels with offering its own unique take on one of the most popular foods across the world.
Their signature burger is the boneless chicken patty and beef, while there are also an excellent selection of vegan and dairy-free options also available. The burger that everyone must try is the PB and Double J, which is made up of two beef patties, peanut butter, bacon jam and smoked chili. The restaurant can be found at Bennetts Hill, and should be on your list for a weekend cheat day meal.
