Kick off those shoes and leave your dignity at the door, because it’s time to jump into the weekend with a day at the trampoline park. Now is the best time to relive your childhood memories and get down to your local jump centre. Although quite a niche activity, you would be surprised at how many (often adult friendly) trampoline parks you can find around Birmingham. Here are just some of the top places to practice your tuck, pike, and straddle.
Rush Trampoline Park
Down the road from Cadbury World is a warehouse containing a massive indoor trampoline park. At 35,000 square feet, “massive” really is not an overstatement. Alongside the trampolines themselves, the Rush Trampoline Park contains 72-foot long tumble lanes, a flat and an extreme dodgeball court, giant foam pits, and trampoline-sprung basketball lanes.
They have many different sessions, including an open jump for everyone over the age of 4, a toddler takeover for just the little ones, and Rush Energy Yoga sessions. But the ultimate experience is the sunset (or after dark, as it’s named in winter) session. On Fridays and Saturdays from 7 ‘til 9pm, the bright lights go down, the UV lights come up, and the DJ turns up the music. Think nightclub meets childhood birthday party, with even more equipment such as dodgeball, basketball, and even an assault course.

Flip Out
If you’ve ever tried your hand at a skate park but found yourself constantly falling onto the hard floor, this one is for you. With an aesthetic of graffiti walls and many trampolines in fun and odd placements, there is a real skater boy vibe to this place, but without the boards and bruises. Much like Rush, Flip Out also has an after dark session, from 6 ‘til 8pm on Fridays, which blasts the music from their super sound system and is accompanied by a discotheque-esque light show. For the young ones, there is a toddler time session, with complete accesses to the under-5s foam pit, which we all remember as the best part of a good jump around.

Gravity
Star City definitely has its fair share of fantastic things to do, but Gravity must be one of the best. With wall-to-wall trampolines filling the room, and an impressive light and sound system, this may just be the ultimate party location. During the open jump, you will have free reign on the inflatables, their assault course, and all the trampolines. On top of this they offer parent and toddler sessions, and birthday party experiences. Being in Star City really adds to the appeal since after your jump around, you can spend the rest of the day at the movies, another fun activity, or just having a massive meal to replenish your energy all in the one building. That’s the next birthday sorted, then!
No Limitz
Did you ever watch Total Wipeout and think “yeah, I could do that”? Well then, it’s time to put your money where your mouth is. No Limitz combines their vault trampolines with what is essentially a foam assault course. The foam pit has battle beams and a rope wall, and the large airbag is loomed over by dive platforms and rope swings. The stunt zone is a great place to show off your skills, but the head to head games are what will get you crowned the winner. If you fancy having a party, but you’re not quite a kid anymore, have no fear. There is an adult party package for those who wish to reclaim their youth before they aren’t as able to jump as they used to be!
Inflata Nation
While this is not technically a trampoline park (it is an inflatable park) Inflata Nation is just as much fun in our opinion. Inflata Nation is filled with inflatables such as their inflatable climbing wall and huge drop slide! There is also a huge ball pit and an inflatable duo race assault course where you can a friends can compete to get the quickest time. This park holds open sessions, toddler only sessions, and grown-up sessions where over 16’s get to enjoy all the fun of the park to themselves.
