Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival
The Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival is back for another year, held from the 7th to the 9th July the festival will be bringing diversity, innovation, and good vibes. The park will host and celebrate innovative UK and international artists all for your entertainment.
Some of the acts include Fat Freddies Drop, Ezra Collective, and Incognito plus lots more. The festival allows people to discover new music and artists while still being able to listen to all your favourites.
The festival will be held in Moseley Park near the centre of Birmingham. The park is a whole 11 acres of woodland great for big festivals underneath the summer sun. The huge space allows people to get up and dance or sit back and relax on deck chairs or blankets while listening to all your favourite artists perform on a huge stage.
Alongside all the singing and dancing there will also be a food village. There will be lots of street food vendors around the park such as Original Patty Men, Bonehead, and That’s Amore. From pizzas, burgers, and waffles the festival has a great variation of refreshments to enjoy.
The festival is independently run and began for the love of music and wanting to build a community and start new friendships. Every year the festival aims to improve on their last and receive positive feedback every year from their guests. The event will start from 1 pm on Friday and 11 am on Saturday and Sunday and finish around 10:30 pm. All in the festival will cost £61.56 per person for one day or £156.60 for the weekend with under 12’s going free.

Solihull summer fest
The ultimate feel-good festival is back for the 7th year running. Solihull Summer Fest will create memories of a lifetime with outstanding live music and fantastic reviews from previous guests. Some of the live acts that will feature are Pixie Lot, Blue, and Martin Kemp.
Held from the 22nd to the 23rd July the festival will located at the Tudor Grange Park a stunning outdoor venue great to party all day long in the great weather. Further to this there will be street food, bars, specially made cocktails, and a Pimms bus for some yummy refreshments during the event. Per day tickets start at £60.50 with the entire weekend costing £99 per person.

Made Festival
For its ninth year Made Festival is back. With world class artists, incredible moments, and high energy the festival aims to be the best yet while celebrating the music and culture Birmingham has to offer. It will run from the 28th to the 30th July offering a range of amazing live acts and DJ’s guaranteed to get you dancing.
On the 28th in the Forum the festival will kick off with Super Sonix X in collaboration with Made Festival. Some of the artist include Hedex + Eksman and Bou + Haribo plus lots and lots more. This event is for over 16’s and ticket price started at £33.75.
The main Made Festival commences Saturday 29th July in the Digbeth Triangle. Some of the headline acts include Hybrid Minds, Ben Hemsley, and Dimension. Tickets began at £50.63 and are selling fast. Alongside the music they will be offering their usual street food to keep you fuelled up for the great night ahead.
Finally, the 29th will be the last day of the festival. Featuring Sean Paul and DJ Buxley the event will be ending with a bang. Held from 12 pm to 9pm in Luna Springs the location is beautiful in the open air surrounded with good vibes. Ticket price started at £39.38 and is for over 18’s.

Carnival Magnifico
Luna Springs is hosting lots of festivals and events over the course of summer 2023. Carnival Magnifico is just one of the great events being held on 9th June at Luna Springs. The event aims to recreate the classic streets of Rio’s carnivals crossed with a nineties rave. So far Wilkinson and Goddard have been announced with the rest of the exciting line up yet to be confirmed. Just a few of the event’s features include samba bands, C02 cannons, fire breathing, glitter bars, and dancers.
Being held at Luna Springs most of the venue is outdoors allowing you to party all night under the stars. The carnival will be held on the 9th June from 6 pm to 2 am, tickets prices started at £16.75 and is for over 18’s only.

Sandwell & Birmingham Mela
Sandwell & Birmingham Mela is UK’s and Europe’s biggest Asian music festival. The festival is presented by Spotify an will be bringing music, dancing, and so much more fun right to your doorstep. The Mela will bring some of the biggest and best UK’s and international music and movie celebs all onto one stage.
Furthermore, there will be food stalls serving refreshments from all over the world such as Chinese and South Asian, an array of workshops for arts & crafts and dancing, plus many shopping stalls delivering you international brands selling food, beauty, and jewellery. Additionally, there will be a funfair to enjoy and lots of visual arts around the park.
Tickets start at just £2 and can be bought online or at the gate. The event will run from the 22nd to the 23rd July and commence at 12 pm and finish around 7 pm.
