For all you green-fingered bunch the NEC has the perfect exhibition for you. The BBC Gardeners’ World is back and better than ever at Birmingham’s NEC. The show is jam packed with lots of gardening fun with live entertainment, plant shopping, and advice from some amazing garden experts. There will be lots of fun florals and greenery to take in and seek inspiration from for your own garden.
What To Expect
For those wanting to seek inspiration or update their outdoor spaces the show gardens are perfect to walk around. The gardens celebrate the creativity and innovation of the gardens and show you how to transform your own space. The show gardens represent design and planting to the highest standard that will get those creative juices flowing. With ideas for small spaces, fountains, design plans, and tropical paradises your garden will be unrecognisable if you chose to take inspiration from one of these amazing show gardens.
If you want some advice on how to get that perfect garden, then there will be multiple talks from lots of industry professionals. Some of the guest speakers include Monty Don, Carol Klein, Frances Tophill, and Alan Titchmarsh. These experts will cover topics such as How To Never Kill A House Plant, Gardening In Changing Times, and How To Use Plants For Drinks And Remedies. These talks aim to help you step by step learn how to create your desired space and help it thrive. Alongside this there will be an opportunity to meet the stars. When purchasing a book by one of the gardening experts you will be given access to meet them and have your copy signed.
After you have taken inspiration from the show gardens and listened to a few talks you may think it’s time to purchase some of those desired garden items to uplift your space. The plant village and floral marquee are the best place to look for these items. The Important Details
The event will be held from Thursday 15th until Sunday the 18th June. General admission starts at £25 per ticket and VIP tickets start from £100 and include goody bags, front row seats, and special lounge access. For a little extra you can book to have an exclusive tour. Starting at 8:30 am before the rest of the show the tour will be led by garden experts to give you insights into their gardens and an opportunity to ask questions. The arena will be open from 9 am to 6 pm Thursday to Saturday and 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday. All tickets include entry to the BBC Good Food Show which will include tasty summer treats, workshops, and lots of delicious products.
