With the festive season approaching it’s time to start thinking about how you will celebrate this special occasion. To celebrate this upcoming holiday Orelle are launching new menus for Christmas Day and New Years Eve. Orelle is a modern French restaurant located on the 24th floor with breathtaking views of the whole of Birmingham, arguably the best setting to celebrate these festive days.
These menus have been specially curated by executive chef Chris Emery with the aim to showcase their finest produce and suppliers. Their Christmas day menu is 4 courses and can be booked from 12:00 – 16:00 and is also available for children too.
Some of the yummy menu items on offer are Citrouille (this dish contains roasted pumpkin velouté, quince, roasted parsnip, walnut), Canard (this meal is made up of roasted Goosnargh duck breast, beetroot, cranberry, pithivier), and for something sweet Orelle are offering their Mont Blanc (this contains vanilla, Marron glacé, black trompette, maple)
For New Year’s Eve the celebrations do not stop as Orelle are welcoming in 2024 with fireworks and a lovely 7 course tasting menu. This evening will not be one to forget with lots of entertainment and delicious food. This exceptional evening can only be attended during just 2 time slots either 17:30 until 18:30 or 20:30 to 21:30 so it’s essential to get planning now.
This menu sounds incredible with just some of the options being Basse (a dish made up of ine caught sebass, potato gnocchi, shellfish fondue, mussel velouté), Filet (this includes 36 day aged beef fillet, miso glazed salsify, radicchio, pomme purée), and dessert wise they are offering Chocolate (a delicious blend of dark chocolate, peanut, banana, créme fraiche sorbet)
Chef Chris has said “Our new menus are a celebration of all the incredible seasonal produce we use in the restaurant and the suppliers we’ve worked closely with this year.” He also mentioned that he is extremely excited to welcome all the guests during this festive period and to celebrate the right way up in the sky and we could not agree more!
