We all enjoy a good game, so when NQ64 combined the art of retro gaming with alcohol and music how could we not love it! Founded in 2019 by Andy Haygarth and Matt Robson in the city of Manchester the guys wanted to provide gaming entertainment to all with well-known favourite arcade games and classic console amusement. If this was not enough for you NQ64 have just announced, they will be introducing Laser Quest into their Birmingham venue from Saturday 16th February 2024.
The adults only laser quest will just be part of the expansion happening at NQ64 Digbeth. The laser quest will be built underground and has been created for ultimate entertainment and to bring back some nostalgic memories. The quest will be themed around an alien invasion in a dystopian future and it’s your job to tackle them. This extraordinary new experience will provide exhilarating enjoyment that will make you feel like a kid again.
The “boozy battle” allows up to 16 players per game who will work to try and save the planet from the invasion. To celebrate the landing of the laser quest it will have its own selection of cocktails themed around alien invasion films plus lots of other specially selected drinks too.
For this transformation to happen the bar will be closed between the 4th and 8th February. Along with the addition of laser quest NQ64 will be adding extra games, a photobooth, more seating, and a large wrap around bar to truly elevate their Birmingham venue.
Co-founder of NQ64 Matt Robson, has stated “When it comes to Laser Quest, expect the same NQ64 vibes with the added bonus of shooting your mates or boss!” Which sounds like something you do not want to turn down. You can book now to take part in their brand-new laser quest and be one of the first to take on the alien battle.
