We’re massive foodies here at We Love Brum and nothing gets us more excited than when Six By Nico announce their new menu! This time round it’s a New York inspired tasting menu and some of the dishes sound divine. This experience will run from the 8th April until the 19th May 2024 and is not one to be missed trust us!
The New York menu is the fourth tasting menu to be released at the Colmore Row Six By Nico in Birmingham. With dishes inspired by the classic New York bagel and warm apple pie this experience has been specially created to bring you the best of New York’s cuisines in six courses.
Chef Nico Simeone and his team created this menu after their recent visit to the city and knew the taste of New York had to be introduced to Six By Nico. They spent 4 days in the city discovering its culture and food dynamic. After trying numerous dishes and falling in love with the city’s food scene the New York tasting menu concept was born.
For the full 6 courses it is £42 per person, and as always there is a veggie menu available too. Some of the items included on this menu are the New Yorker Slice & Cookie which contains pepperoni ragu, panzanella, pecorino foam, and a classic black and white cookie, another dish is The Everything Bagel this is grenobloise coalfish, baked celeriac, garlic, and caper & brown butter foam, finally for the sweet ending their Lower East Side Apple Pie this has apple presse, cheesecake, dulce de leche, and cookies & cream anglaise.
