It’s finally that time, TOCA Social Birmingham have now opened their doors in the Bullring! That’s right, after all the build up and anticipation TOCA have launched their new venue in the Bullring last Friday. We were lucky enough to be invited to their launch party last week and can now bring you a full review on our thoughts on this new interactive football experience!

Who Are TOCA Social?

For those who are unaware of what TOCA Social is here is a quick run down. This is an immersive football experience where you can have a kick about, enjoy great food, and indulge in delicious drinks. There are 2 full bars and 23 football boxes where you can play a range of games suitable for footie pros and beginners.

What’s On Offer

The new Birmingham venue has a 23 interactive football boxes, 2 bars, photo booths, a foosball table, and some classic arcade games. They also have an extensive food and drinks menu which can be enjoyed before, during, or after game play. The venue has a football theme running throughout it, including a wall full of balls which makes the experience all that more exciting!

Our Experience

Game wise TOCA offers 5 different games to play which have a range of levels from beginner, intermediate, and advanced to ensure there is an even playing field.

We got to play their Zombie Attack and Striker game where you had to kick the ball at certain targets to earn points and whoever scored the highest won! We thoroughly enjoyed both the games we played and as beginners they were very accommodating and ensured everyone had an even shot.

All the TOCA staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially when it came to setting up the games. They helped us choose which games would be best for us to play and showed us how to get started on the pitch.

To end the evening we had to grab a picture in their photo booth to remember the night by. Not only do you get a physical copy of the photo, but you can also digitally download a video of all the photos you took inside the booth, making it all that more memorable!

Refreshments

TOCA has a wide range of food and drinks on offer, and we got to try some of their brand-new cocktails. We tried 3 of their new cocktails including their Rum Punch, Tommy’s Margarita, and the Gin Lemon Drop. Our favourite was the Rum Punch this was a mix of rum, pineapple, orange, raspberry, and mint. The combination of all the fruit made the drink extremely refreshing making it a perfect half time beverage.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience! We would absolutely recommend TOCA if you’re looking for a new activity to try out. You can book your game now via their website here: https://www.toca.social/
