One of the classes offered at the Birmingham branch is pratyahara yoga. This is known as the 5th limb of yoga which is completed to stimulate your senses. The workshop aims to play with your senses to gain sensory information to then deepen self awareness. The class will be led by Harriette and last for 2 hours, there will be complementary mats and water fountains to keep hydrated however, you are advised to bring along an eye mask to help relaxation and make you feel at ease. At the Alchemist they take pride in the drinks they create and aim to have the most creative, mysterious, and delicious cocktails, and this masterclass will help you recreate just a few.
Led by some of their most experienced mixologists this masterclass will help you learn the secrets behind the cocktail. Led step by step you will make your concoction and then be able to drink your delicious creation. All their classes are very interactive and hands on to help you learn skills you can take away and practice at home.
There are 3 different 60-90 minute classes to choose from these include; Light and Dreamy, Chemistry and Theatre, and their Non-alc. The Light and Dreamy classes involve lighter spirits where you will be making a Pop Notch and Piña Co-Lava Lamp. The Chemistry and Theatre involves heavier spirits which include crating their Dead Red Zombie and Tongue Tied Mai Tai. Finally, the Non-alc sessions is where you will make their Bubblygum and Cos-No which involve no alcohol. Their classes last around the same time and cost between £25 and £35.

The upcoming workshop is the Well Being Crystal Soy Wax Candel Making. The class involves picking oils, crystals, and petals to make a beautiful candle to help you relax. This great experience is held in the unique studios at the historical Jewellery Quarter. The Candel Making class will be held on the 24th June from 11 am to 12:30 pm and is £45 per person.
My Exotic Kitchen
To help get those cooking skills up to scratch My Exotic Kitchen will teach you traditional recipes and techniques you can cook up at home. The classes specialise in South Asian cooking and are made to be educational and fun. Held in a delightful home kitchen in Bournville the environment is relaxing and will have you at ease while cooking.
