Halloween Silent Movie Special – Birmingham Town Hall

This Halloween, the theatre industry’s most hauntingly beautiful musical, Phantom of the Opera, comes to the Birmingham Town Hall in silent movie form to give you an equal dose of thrills and chills. Released in 1925, this (almost) 100-year-old movie starring Lon Chaney and Mary Philbim has much more of a horror appeal than the 2004 version. Accompanied by a live organ played by renowned West End organist Donald Mackenzie, the movie is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine.
