This delightful cafe serves mouthwatering home cooked food, offering hot drinks, and delicious cakes. At night the venue is transformed into an amazing bar with a wide menu of drinks and live music. Paint & Prosecco


Fancy getting innovative over something bubbly? Paint and Prosecco is the perfect chance! This Mother’s Day, Resorts World is putting on their first ever workshop at Secret Garden in the Sky By The Water. The Event will run from 12 pm until 2 pm on Saturday 18th March 2023.

For £33.93 you and your mom will receive a 2-hour floral painting class, hot drinks, and of course prosecco. The class will help you create a simplistic floral design using acrylic paint that can be put onto a card or hang up. Your artistic creation will make a great gift for your mother. All equipment will be provided in the price and includes aprons to ensure your Mother’s Day outfit is not ruined.

The class will be guided by Milan Topalovic. Topalovic has an extensive artistic background including prints, merchandise, greeting cards, and portraiture. He has worked with large and independent companies across the country to bring businesses his unique designs.

The Secret Garden is part of the Sky By The Water restaurant. Located on the rooftop, the garden has multiple cozy pods to sit and watch the world go by. The bar has gorgeous tropical, bright, and floral aesthetic perfect to help inspire your painting. However, bear in mind the venue is only partly covered so remember to wrap up warm.

Slug and Lettuce Afternoon Tea


Slug and Lettuce have got your Mother’s Day plans covered this year. Whether its afternoon tea, brunch, or lunch, the restaurant provides it all. But the experience doesn’t stop there, if you pre-book your mother will receive a complimentary Chambord Royale on their visit and be entered in a competition to win a holiday, what more could they ask for?

If the special lady fancies an afternoon tea, she’ll have to choose from classic, tipsy, or cocktails with cakes afternoon tea. Classic afternoon tea starts from £15 per person and includes a selection of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, mini desserts, and your choice of tea or coffee. On the other hand, they offer a tipsy afternoon tea priced at £21 and this comes with the standard sandwiches, scones, and desserts but this time the hot drink is swapped for 2 glasses of prosecco or cocktails.

The restaurant’s bottomless brunch includes drinks and food. Food wise they offer pancakes, a full English, and eggs benedict. Which can be washed down with prosecco, aperol spritz, and cocktails. From a minimum upgrade fee of £3 your options can be expanded to include burgers, wraps, and martinis.

Finally, if you can’t make breakfast there’s always time for lunch. From salads, wraps, burgers, and curries they’ve got it all. The menu is available every weekday until 4 pm, perfect to brighten mom’s week.

ABBA Alike the ABBA Tribute Band


Does your mom enjoy dancing, good music, and ABBA then, the ABBA Alike tribute is the perfect present to make her smile. ABBA Alike are the greatest Swedish ABBA tribute group, they recreate their classic songs, outfits, and looks. The afternoon will be filled with booging to traditional 70’s music and singing along to all the greatest hits.

The event will take place on Sunday 19th March 2023 from 3pm until 6pm. Tickets cost £17 via Eventbrite when bought in advance and will ensure you have a seat at the event. This will be held at Joe Joe Jims bar Birmingham. The bar offers your classic pub drinks like wine, beer, and spirits. Inside there’s lots of retro arcade games to reminisce about your childhood days. Dogs are also welcome to the venue (But this may not be wise if they are not into live ABBA tunes.)
