Selfridges Swap Shop

From the 22nd to the 25th June Selfridges will be holding their first ever swap shop in partner with LOANHOOD. The event is free to attend and will allow you to bring your preowned item and exchange them for something preloved that you like just that little bit more. The event aims to promote and show the public what circular fashion is and how shopping preloved can help the environment. Circular fashion means to prolong the life of clothes by not just disposing of them but by passing them on so they can be worn for longer.

The swap shop is simple. Start by clearing out your wardrobe and find any items valuing between £50 and £300 (re-sale value), then bring these down to Selfridges for an evaluation. Your items will then be exchanged for stamps which then can be redeemed in their preloved shop to find your new spring wardrobe.

The event will be held in womenswear on floor 3 and time slots can be booked online. From Thursday to Saturday the swap shop will operate 10 am to 8 pm and Sundays from 11 am until 5 pm.
