The FRIENDS Experience is Coming to Birmingham!

Calling all ‘Friends’ fans! If you’re looking to make summer plans, and don’t even have a ‘pla’, then look no further – the FRIENDS Experience is coming to Brum! That’s right, for a limited time only, the iconic sitcom experience is opening its doors at the NEC, Birmingham. Get your tickets here!

Nearly twenty years after the beloved comedy show left our screens, Friends is just as popular as ever, with the reunion episode in 2021 reaffirming that the ‘Frenaissance’ is in full swing. Hugely popular in the US, Brussels and Paris, the FRIENDS Experience allows fans to swing open the purple door and totally immerse themselves in all things Friends.

What’s on at the ‘FRIENDS Experience‘?

Visitors to the unique experience can expect to wander into the most popular sets from the show, recreated with a painstaking attention to detail. Guests have the opportunity to sip a coffee in Central Perk café, avoid making a mess in Monica’s Kitchen, and battle the cornered stairs with Ross’ sofa – don’t forget to PIVOT!

With designated photo opportunities every step of the way, and photography very much encouraged, the FRIENDS Experience is here to bring you and your friends directly into the heart of the show, and make you feel like a part of the gang.

‘The One in Birmingham’ is landing in the UK from the 8th July – 18th August, and alongside lounging in Joey and Chandler’s armchairs or sprawling on the orange sofa, visitors can expect to see some of the most familiar props from their favourite episodes.

The Experience also hosts displays of original costumes from the series. Fans who have rewatched the show in 2023 will likely have noticed that the cast’s looks mark the height of nineties fashion and have filtered their way down into today’s trendiest outfits. Rachel Green is the personal stylist we all wish we had.

The displays also feature some of the instantly recognisable comedy costumes (‘Could I be wearing any more clothes?’), including the infamous Holiday Armadillo, and the Thanksgiving Turkey head!

There will also be a FRIENDS Experience gift shop and store website, giving visitors the chance to pick up t-shirts, totes, and mugs, or to take home their own Hugsy plush, don a Central Perk apron and sample Monica’s strawberry breakup jam. Do you really need more Friends merch? Sounds like a ‘moo’ point to us.
