Our Trip To Birmingham’s Wildwood

0

Born in 2004 with the creation of a Mediterranean pizza, Wildwood has collaborated with amazing chefs to build special menus and combine traditional European dishes with classic comfort food. Their aim is to always serve great food and quality service to every customer through their door. Serving up pizzas, pastas, and grill items their menu has tons of tasty dishes to choose from.

Our Experience

One of Wildwoods aims is to have exceptional service and we can say they definitely achieved this. From start to finish we was treated remarkably well with staff being super friendly and helpful throughout. From giving recommendations, constant check-ups on how we were doing, and even letting us pick our seat for the evening, it was just brilliant!

Food & Drinks

Wildwoods drinks menu has been specially curated to align with their food menu, this meaning there will be perfect drink paring to every dish on their menu, how wonderful! When choosing we had to go for one of their cocktails. We chose the Sex On The Beach a punchy, fruity, and overall delightful drink. Filled with orange and cranberry juice the drink was refreshing and bursting with flavour.

Looking through the menu we were spoilt for choice, there was so many options and lots for veggies too! We decided to go for the Grilled Courgette & Goat’s Cheese pizza and their Oven Baked Goat’s Cheese & Mushroom Penne Pasta. The pizza was just amazing! The goats cheese tasted delicious, and the courgettes were cooked beautifully. The pizza was thin, and the crusts were crunchy, it was just perfection on a plate. Our pasta was also luscious. There were peppers, spinach, tomato sauce, and lots and lots of cheese what more could you want?

Dessert

Finally, we couldn’t skip dessert. After asking what they recommend we went for their Warm Chocolate Brownie and their Tiramisu. The brownie was absolutely mouth-watering. Accompanied with chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream, and honeycomb for a little crunch it was a divine dessert. Alongside this we went for the tiramisu, this Italian dessert lived up to and exceeded all expectations. The coffee flavour was bursting out and the cream sweet and thick.

After our delightful meal and collecting the bill, we were asked to complete a small survey to review out experience. The short survey only took a couple of minutes and allowed us to express our positive opinions on our trip. At the end there was a chance to win a prize for completing the questionnaire and we won a free dessert on our next visit, so we will for sure be coming back!
