Best Spanish Restaurants In Brum

0

The summer is finally here, but for most of us, there will be no summer holidays this year, which means that staying in the second city will be the best that many can do. However, fortunately, there are a number of Spanish-themed restaurants in the second city that will give visitors at least a taste of what it would be like to be abroad. These restaurants will give an authentic taste of Spain, and make it feel as though you’re in the Mediterranean country.

Tapas Revolution

Tapas Revolution is another of the most popular Spanish-themed restaurants in the city, and it ensures that visitors can try out a host of the most popular dishes on the menu. There are also paellas and other main dishes available on the menu, but the tapas side to the restaurant is one of the reasons for its popularity.

There is a range of options available to visitors, which take into account all dietary requirements. One of our personal favourites is the Albondigas En Salsa, which is delightful meatballs services with vegetable sauce. The Torreznos Con Mojo is also a must for those visitors that like a bit of a kick. Fish options in the tapas menu are also popular, with the Gambas Al Ajillo our personal preference.

La Plancha

Located on Alcester Road, you will find one of the classiest tapas restaurants in the second city- La Plancha. The restaurant is one that you will continue to visit time and time again, as you look to explore more of the wide range of tapas options available. Customers can often take advantage of the offers that are available at La Plancha. It is one of the most affordable tapas restaurants in the city, with dishes costing between £5 and £10 depending on the order.

There are tapas options for both cold and hot food. The most popular hot options are the paellas, with both fish and chicken available. There is also a very popular vegetarian paella available for customers, which costs just £5.75. Customers will have so much choice that they won’t know what to pick, which makes for the perfect excuse to return.

Bar Estilo

Few restaurants in the city can offer better views than Bar Estilo, which is located just inside the Mailbox by the canal. There is a comfortable interior that will make visitors feel comfortable the moment that they walk through the door, and offers a wide selection of dining options for visitors. As well as the wide range of Spanish tapas options, which includes octopus, chorizo and tortilla selections, there is also an excellent range of Moroccan food available.

Customers will be spoilt for choice when deciding on the cuisine that they want to go with, as the Lamb Kofta Mezze is one of the finest dishes on the menu. You should make sure that you don’t fill up on a main though, as the churros are a must when it comes to a dessert.

Rico Libre

Rico Libre offers a unique taste of Spain, and is located in the Custard Factor in the second city. The restaurant boasts a bright interior that is classy, with high chairs and seats for bigger parties. There are also booths for groups of four that are looking to experience a fantastic tapas experience. The paella is a reason alone to pay a visit to Rico Libre, and you can wash down the tasty main with a jug, or glass of sangria.
