Opening up late last year in October, Lovelife have set out to be the latest and greatest dining destination in Digbeth. Lovelife have created a relaxed and social dining atmosphere where you can enjoy hearty breakfasts, grill dinners, or a light salads. All the dishes have been inspired by their travels across the Mediterranean Basin and aim to bring this great flavour right to your doorstep here in Digbeth.
The restaurant tries their hardest to be inclusive to all dietary requirements with most dishes being gluten free. Further to this the menu has a brilliant range of halal, vegan, and veggie options to choose from that sound absolutely delicious. Lovelife want their business practices to be open and honest with all their customers and one way they do this is by having no kitchen door, this means guests will see the staff hard at work preparing their food and see all the ingredients used in each dish.
All meals are cooked and prepared fresh on site to avoid unnecessary waste and give customers fresh tasting food. Lovelife also aim to have less processed food and will only freeze ice cream and water which shows how fresh their produce is. Drinks wise the restaurant wanted to have local, organic, and flavoursome suppliers to provide the restaurant with the best beers, wines, hot and cold drinks.
Some of the wonderful dishes served up is the Full Mediterranean Breakfast with Chicken & Chorizo Sausage, their Grilled Monte Enebro Goat’s Cheese, Wilted Radicchio, drizzled in Balsamic Glaze, and a selection of Sunday roasts including the Garlic & Rosemary Lamb Shoulder served with veggies and roasters.
