Here at We Love Brum we adore Six By Nico and always look forward to seeing what their new menu will be every 6 weeks. We were thrilled to hear that they have created a Vietnamese inspired “Hanoi” menu designed to capture the beautiful and flavoursome street food sold in Hanoi the capital of Vietnam. This menu will launch on the 26th February and run until the 7th April 2024 giving you plenty of time to book in and grab a taste of Hanoi street food.
The menu will consist of 6 carefully curated courses that have been inspired by this amazing Vietnamese city. For the full 6 courses you will pay £39 per person and if you wish to enhance your Vietnamese experience you can add specially paired drinks from courses 2-6 for an extra £30. Some of the dishes included on this menu are Bún Riêu (this is Vietnamese Shellfish Foam, Spiced Pork Ragu, Crispy Noodles, and paired with Wild Rice), Bún Bo ( this includes Smoked Beef, Noodles, Bone Marrow Sauce, Coriander, and Beansprouts), and to finish Bánh Trôi Tàu (this one contains Palm Sugar Delice, Kumquat, with Lime and Ginger Mousse).
Alongside this there will also be an entirely vegetarian menu that is still inspired by the flavoursome street food from Hanoi. Plus Six By Nico will do their best to cater for vegans or any other dietary requirement you may have.
To truly capture the culture and flavours of Hanoi street food Six By Nico paired themselves with talented Vietnamese contributors who helped the restaurant design this new menu concept. Chef and founder of the restaurant Nico Simeone has said “We can’t wait to bring a taste of Vietnam to the heart of Birmingham” which is a statement we can get behind!
