The Hippodrome

With the unreliable British weather sometimes having plans indoors despite it being the middle of June is a safe option. The Hippodrome is situated in the heart of Birmingham and brings may shows and musicals to its legendary stage every year. The Wizard of Oz will be the show that is running over the Father’s Day weekend and we think its a good one to take dad to.

With Craig Revel Horwood and Aston Merrygold featuring in the show this performance will be magical and perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Tickets start at £25 and there will be 3 performances one on Tuesday 11th, Thursday 13th, and Father’s Day being Sunday 16th June. Booking is essential and the tickets are selling fast especially for the Father’s Day show!

Over the course of the Father’s Day weekend the NEC are hosting 2 shows that we think wil interest a lot of dad’s.

The first show is the BBC Gardners World Live. This will run from the 13th to the 16th June and include live stage demos, food and drinks shopping and tasting, and the Good Food Summer Show featuring top chefs and gardening experts.

Another show running is the Good Food Show. Again, this will run from the 13th to the 16th June and have a dedicated show presenting you with some new cooking recipes and skills for you to learn and practice at home. Some of the special guests attending the show are adiya Hussain, James Martin, and The Hairy Bikers. Also, you will get to taste and buy some of the products used in the Live shows.
