Selfridges


This year Selfridges are holding are holding their own Easter egg hunt. On the 5th and 8th April Selfridges Birmingham Easter egg hunt will kick start. Kids will have to find all eight eggs to be in with the chance to get a chocolate treat. The event is free of charge, allowing all to join in. This is a great way to make your shopping trip enjoyable for the little ones. This will be held in the kids and toys section at 12-1 pm and 1-2 pm. This can be a brilliant activity for the whole family to join in on over the Easter holiday, and let your kids run wild.

If this isn’t enough entertainment, then Selfridges are also holding an Easter craft workshop. On the 11th and 12th April kids can dig deep into their creative side and make something Easter themed. The tickets cost £5 per person, and will run from 11am-12pm, 12:30-1:20pm, and 2-3pm. The workshop will be led by some art and crafts experts to help you make something beautiful and gift worthy.

Plus, this is the perfect opportunity to get those last minute Easter treats. From chocolate eggs, cuddly rabbits, and craft sets you’ll find it all in just one place. Wheather it’s for the kids or parents there’s something everyone would love to receive.

The Big Birmingham Bake

From April 3rd until May 1st The Big Birmingham Bake will be dedicating their April bakes to easter. Guests will be asked to bake the Spring Bunny Stacks. This is 3 layers of cookies filled with chocolate ganache then piped and spinked with mini eggs.  

You and a friend will compete against other teams to create the best looking and tasting bake. Whether you’re an expert baker or not this event will bring out your competitive side and show you how fun baking can be. All equipment you will need to create your masterpiece will be provided along with some extra refreshments to keep morale high. Tickets are £47.50 each for 90 minutes of baking with help from a professional head baker.  

If you can’t make it down to the tent to bake, then they have some great recipes you can follow at home. From mini egg porridge and chocolate fudge recipes you’ll still be able to get your dose of sweet treats this Easter.

Slug and Lettuce

For Easter 2023 Slug and Lettuce have lots of special treats just for you. This 4 day weekend the restaurant has you covered right from the booking stage.
