You may already know about Roxy Ball Room in Digbeth, but have you heard about the one in Victoria Square? That’s right Roxy have now opened their second location right in the centre of Birmingham.
Newly opened this venue offers new and exciting games that Digbeth do not provide. Now having crazy pool, duck pin bowling, and karaoke you’re going to love the new variety they have to offer. While they do offer new games here, their aim to provide booze and ball games is still the same.
Their duck pin bowling features short bowling lanes meaning your skills need to be on point. The aim is similar to ten-pin bowling but on a smaller scale. This is great if you’re looking for a fast-paced game to keep you and a friend entertained. Another new game to Birmingham is the crazy pool. The game combines your two favourites, pool and golf. Using a cue and a golf ball you must putt the balls through the crazy courses on tabletops.
The aim is just like golf (you want to get the lowest score) but using cues. Their bars play indie and rock music while you play games and drink so don’t be afraid if you want to singalong or you could just book their karaoke. This can be especially fun with a large group of friends and some alcohol.
Similar to their other locations they also provide food and drinks. Their food menu stretches from American pizza to hotdogs and chicken, perfect for a mid-game snack. The cocktails are also not to be missed out on! Living on a pear and their apple Lynchburg lemonade just taste divine. With their new large dining and bar space Roxy is also great just to grab a few drinks and meet friends in a lively and social environment.
Alike their other venues this one also features their classic photobooth, except this one is bigger! With no chair restricting you, lots of people can fit inside and you’ll have lots of space to make those crazy poses.
Roxy is open 3 pm to 1 am Monday to Thursday, 12 pm until 2 am Friday and Saturday, and 12 pm to 1 am on a Sunday. Walk-ins are accepted at this venue however booking is advised especially on weekends and in the evenings. Prices vary depending on which game you play and how many you want to do.
