Rudy’s stive to make delicious, classic, and flavoursome Neapolitan pizzas. The pizzeria follows traditions from Naples that have taken years to perfect in order to serve you light and fluffy pizza you are going to love. With multiple locations in Birmingham, Rudy’s is going to be your next favourite pizza spot in the city.

Our Experience

When entering the restaurant, we were greeted by lovely staff members who showed us to our seats and gave us a couple of menus. After being seated we were shown the menu and told about the specials for the day. The restaurant was amazing at dealing with allergies and dietary requirements when ordering and made sure we were well looked after.

We didn’t have to wait around for our pizzas and drinks as they came out shortly after ordering them. We were checked upon for the duration of our visit and the staff made sure we were content with what we ordered.

Inside Rudy’s

The restaurant had a wonderful rustic feel with potted plants and mismatched furniture to create that edgy feel. With exposed brick, light coloured wood fittings, and huge windows all around the interior gave the inside a beautiful bright and airy feeling where we could sit back and enjoy our food.

Our Pizza

All of Rudy’s pizzas are made with dough that is made in their restaurants daily and double fermented over the period of 24 hours to create an unbeatable fluffy pizza texture. Additionally, each pizza is topped with their San Marzano tomatoes these have a distinctive strong and sweet taste which are perfect for their Neapolitan pizzas. Finally, the pizzas are cooked for around 60 seconds with a special oven imported from Naples which give the pizzas their traditional charred look.

For Pizza we went for a classic Margherita, a El Supremo, and a Garlic Bread. The Margherita was topped with Bufala mozzarella and looked and tasted divine. The El Supremo was on Rudy’s specials bored so we had to give it a go. This pizza was a Naples twist on a signature pizzeria in Brooklyn NYC called Roberta’s, it had lots of topping such as mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian fennel sausage, peppers, and seasoned with oregano, it was just as delicious as it sounds! Finally, we couldn’t resist a side of Garlic Bread, we went for the cheese option and absolutely loved it.

After eating we had a few leftovers which we got to take home with us in a Rudy’s pizza box to warm up for later.

Our Dessert

Despite not being left hungry we couldn’t leave without having dessert. We went for the classic Italian dessert Tiramisu, which is made fresh every day. It had a great coffee taste with thick cream and served beautifully with a dusting of chocolate powder.

To grab a slice of all the action you can book here to secure your table or just walk into your local Rudy’s and taste pizza like no other!
