A first Look At Birmingham’s Café B:Eats New Christmas Menu

B:Eats is a daytime café and pre-concert pitstop located in Symphony Hall. The café has recently announced their plans to launch their new Christmas menu for 2023! Spoiler alert this menu looks insane and has some delicious sounding dishes on offer that will be perfect for the upcoming colder months.

The new menu has some mouthwatering meals to offer including their very own version of the famous Birmingham Soup. This soup was created by Matthew Boulton originally to provide cheap yet healthy meals when harvests were redeemed bad. This came about in the 18th century and was made with beef, vegetables, and typically served with a single slice of bread often used to dip in.

The B:Eats version of the Birmingham Soup is also made with beef and vegetable broth but instead is served with their Brummie Bacon Cake with some salted butter.

Some of the other new menu items include Half-Pounder Cheese and Bacon Burger and their Roasted Cauliflower With Chickpeas which is an Indian inspired dish with cauliflower, chickpeas, red onion, spinach, and coconut milk yoghurt.

The head chef Lee Hollington claims they are extremely excited for this new launch, especially to introduce their Birmingham Soup to the people of Brum. He also claims, “There’s nothing better to warm you up on a winter’s day than a hearty bowl of food” and we could not agree more!

This gorgeous menu is set to launch on the 6th November 2023 so there is not long to go until you can enjoy your first taste of Christmas. The café is open Monday to Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm, making it the idea lunch stop in your busy day.
